I don't know about your heart, but long term cconsistentuse can hurt your liver. I used to take allot of ibprofen for headaches. When I switched doctors, the first thing she did was give me a prescription for my headaches. She said that the constant use of ibprofen was hard on my liver. Taking one pill for headaches that lasts eight or more hours is better than 4 pills every six hours. Since I have high blood pressure, the possible risk that this could be hurting my heart makes me glad that I don't take them any more.
