Forgeting Simple Things

Have you ever been asked to recite your anthem or pledge and suddenly forgot? What about how to spell a very simple word and it just can't seem to come to you? Please share your experiences and what you do / did to ensure it does not happen again.

I usually remember just about everything I do. At times I forget someone's name even if I've known them forever. The same thing when trying to remember a song or the artist of that particular song. Then again everybody has their brain farts now and then.
