As the article states, there are going to be driver problems for the next year. That is going to be a huge issue since the best thing about XP has been that you can plug and play anything with out needing to install special drivers. This is going to be a major block for me in upgrading.
Another big issue with all sixty-four bit operating systems is the actual usage. There are not allot of applications that the average user will buy that will use the sixty-four bit power of the OS. Allot of people will not realized that you will have to have a sixty-four bit CPU in order to utilize the OS. 64 bit CPU's are expensive, and again, few applications have been created that will actually utilize 64 bit. I see this as the future of computing, but for the moment, it will wait in the wings in my opinion.
