AMERICAN NUN SHUNS LUXURY FOR MEXICAN JAIL
The cell at the end of the dark hallway barely fits a cot, a desk and a folding chair. This is home for Sister Antonia Brenner, an American nun who was raised in Beverly Hills but abandoned a life of privilege to live in a notorious Mexican jail.

"I don't understand why people are so amazed," she says. "To give help is easy. To ask for it is hard." |
What a wonderful story. What surprises me the most is that until she was 50 something years old she was living this rich lifestyle and then all of the sudden because of her failed marriages, she decided to completely changed her lifestyle and give service to others. The prison guards say that she has the ability to calm down the prisoners and tell them things nobody can tell them. It is just amazing to me the love this woman has for this people, to the point of living in a jail to serve others. What an example!
