A couple of years ago, I read this excellent review of a movie called Deliver Us From Eva. I finally watched it tonight. It is a great movie!

While the story is somewhat of a predictable adaptation of The Taming of the Shrew, it also has a lot of original elements, along with some great acting.

I highly recommend this movie.

Eva Us Deliver

I thought the movie was very funny myself! I wouldn't have taken the 5000 dollars to date Eva though. She was one tough cookie! Unfortunately, the movie had a very predictable ending, LL cool J's character falls in love for real and ends up getting the girl. Its happened in a million movies and books before it, but it was very entertaining.
