I've been trying a Gluten-free diet for over a month, and I feel much healthier. It's made a huge difference on my bowel movements as well as how much energy I have. My diet now consists primarily of protein (chicken, mostly) and vegetables.
I actually began cutting gluten from my diet a year ago, and within 4 months I had lost 50 lbs, hence the protein now (I weigh 160 and I'm 6'3)The trick is not to buy the special "Gluten Free" version of things, but rather to learn to do without. There are many foods out there.
