A lot of people, such as couples, have a song that is special to them and/or reminds them of one another. This can even be a special song between a parent and child or two friends. For couples, perhaps 'your' song was played at your wedding, at that memorable dance, or on a special date with someone. What is 'your' song and how did it become special to the two of you?

This is a funny one. My wife and I had a song once upon a time. She kept changing the song she wanted to be our song! She changed it so much that I don't even remember if we have a song anymore! I know its a womans perogative to change her mind, but sheesh, its hard enough remembering everything else.

"Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion. While we were dating, Celine was very popular and her music was all over the radio. We went to her concert and this song was our wedding dance song. I have to admit it was more a choice that my wife made; if it was up to me our song would probably be the theme song from Star Wars

Everything I do (I Do It For You) by Bryan Adams is our "song." It's been one of my favorite songs for so long, but it also turned out to be the first song we ever danced to together. I was fourteen, and he was fifteen (gah I'm old), and I had been really sick for about a week. He got his mom to bring him over to my house and he made me lay down almost all night while he made me hot tea and soup, etc. After we'd eaten, he walked over to my computer and turned that song on, and then he asked me to dance. So our first dance was to that song in my living room.

My husband and I danced to our song at the first dance we ever went to together. The song was popular at the time, and the more we heard it during our courtship, the more it kind of 'fit' for us. We both mutually adopted it as our song without discussing it for a while, that we both liked it and thought about the other person when we heard it. The song is Eternal Flame by the Bangles. It still seems perfect for us and we like to listen to it sometimes.

We dont so much have a significant song, rather a whole album. Its called Make Yourself by Incubus. Every now and then I listen to it, or we listen to it together and it always brings a smile to my face.

"Amazed" by Lonestar was our wedding song. It just seemed like a perfect song at the time. My husband listens to country music, and I usually don't, but we both agreed on the song hands down.
