From a different perspective
3 Nephi 1:12
Sometimes while reading the Book of Mormon I like to place myself in the position of the author to better get a feel for what they are saying. Now consider 3 Nephi 1:12. Here Nephi hears the Voice of the Lord saying that on the morrow he will be born. Now this may bring up some questions that can be discussed here:
* If the Lord would be coming on the morrow then that would mean His Spirit would be in the womb of Mary or is it that the Lord is not bound to that (or has his power even while in the womb?).
* Is it the Voice of the Lord or maybe the Spirit on behalf of the Lord transmitting what the Lord would have said if he were 'available'.
* If it is the Spirit of the Lord then it would be true oneness of the Gods to speak in the first person
What are your thoughts?

I agree with your third point. But I really need to gather my thoughts properly before giving the reason behind my view as this particular topic has been discussed over and over in our Sunday School classes and in my High Priest Quorum. I do not want to say until I have had a proper think. This is a thread I would like to contribute more to.
