How Your Job Is Making You Fat
If your job demands that you work overtime--that is, more than 40 hours a week--or you feel totally worn out and exhausted at the end of the work day, go weigh yourself. If that number on the scale is higher than you think it should be, you can probably blame your job for making you fat.

Job fatigue is certainly prevalent in the United States... maybe that's why some 80-90% of Americans are overweight! I don't think the job puts the candybar from the snack machine in your mouth, you do. I think this was a poorly organized experiment and the author doesn't even give tips to suggest what you can do to minimize job fatigue.

I do not agree with number 4 that food is not the solution to work fatigue as I think it is a major contributor. It is the type of fuel you ingest that matter and when you eat it. We have two ladies who come to our work site and talk about this. Hydration is a big one as well as eating the slow burning carbs that do have proteins, such as hemp seeds.
I do agree a walk at noon helps revitalise us physically and mentally. But you both to keep alert. So eat up those fruits and veggies and avoid those heavy meat and high white carbohydrate lunches.
