The Worst Time to Drink a Soda
Thirsty in the hours before bedtime? Drink milk, water, or juice. Don't reach for a soda pop. According to a new study from the University of Arizona in Tucson, soft drink consumption in the evening has been linked to troublesome acid reflux at night.

I was at a party over the weekend, drinking only soda pops (which we just call pop here-- in the UK) until late into the evening-- I won't ever be doing that again!
although I didn't suffer too badly with reflux, my stomach was 'rolling' all night, and I only managed a couple of hours sleep, which in turn had the effect that I felt tired all the next day.
At least I feel I have learnt from my mistake.
