Canada suicide hotline to open only from 9 to 5

TORONTO, May 25 (Reuters) - A Canadian province will shut its 24-hour suicide hotline and replace it with one that operates only during business hours.

So I guess anyone who has suicidal thoughts should wait till they are open or just kill themselves. I think this will end when someone kills them selves during the off hours of the hotline.

You have got to be kidding! I don't know the statistics on this, but I bet a lot of people end up killing themselves between the hours of 5 pm and 6 am, when the are home and alone not when they are occupied by work or school.
