Honestly, I would have rather have seen Musharraf continue in office and provide some stability if he would have continued down the path towards a democracy/republic. However, I do like that the court is taking the government to task to ensure that there is less corruption.

In one report I read it suggested that as long as the US remains in Afghanistan it pushes militants into Pakistan as new fighting turf. I don't know how true that is but it does seem that the Pakistan government is allowing the US to 'fight' there even if it is just from the skies. Again, as was mentioned before, this country has the element of religion dominating it and so people at ground level seem to think everything will just work out itself for the better or the strongest voice wins.

Well, friends we are mixing two topics I.e
1. Pakistan's infrastructure
2. Pakistan's Nuclear program
As far as the first one is concerned then the real problem is not lesser funds but there application. Because several organizations and countries give aide for this purpose but due to corruption and poor planing the funds are being wasted.
( In the second one ) I think that Pakistan's nuclear program cannot be compared with any other domestic problem especially as far as funds are concerned because Pakistan is a country which has been facing multiple threats from the day of its independence for some really strong reasons. Its not right time to discuss them . Therefore to counter those threats the country's defense is of primary importance. But they should not neglect the need of clean drinking water also that's why the funds are present there but the problem is corruption, poor planing and other such curses.
Shortly both the defense and infrastructure and domestic needs have there own importance and we cannot compare them with same scale or criterion.
