World Within - Amazing

This is a fantastic java applet that makes a comparison of the Universe we live in and our own little Universe here on earth. The link will take you to a page with this intro:

View the Milky Way at 10 million light years from the Earth. Then move through space towards the Earth in successive orders of magnitude until you reach a tall oak tree just outside the buildings of the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory in Tallahassee, Florida. After that, begin to move from the actual size of a leaf into a microscopic world that reveals leaf cell walls, the cell nucleus, chromatin, DNA and finally, into the subatomic universe of electrons and protons.

Amazing - World

This was so awesome! I have the sight saved now and my kids and wife are loving watching this. This really puts into perspective just how small we are and our place in the universe. Not to mention, the graphic was very well put together. Someone had to have allot of knowledge and creativity to put this together. I'm very impressed!
