Berlin. German President Koehler encouraged the Germans to play an active role in the process of globalization. In his so-called Berlin speech, Koehler said a short while ago that Germans in particular profited from globalization, thanks to Germany's integration into the world economy. At the same time, the German President called for an equal distribution of chances and burdens associated with globalization. In that context, Koehler warned of a growing gap among incomes in Germany. Koehler recommends more sharing in capital and gains of their companies by the employees.
