GETTING MEN TO GO TO CHURCH
Where have all the good men gone? Not to church, apparently. "It is a problem," said the Rev. Steve Goodier of Salt Lake's Christ United Methodist Church. "We've been trying to get ahold of it."

I cant speak for other men, but I can sure speak for myself. Sundays are the last day of the weekend, its the day football is on, its the last day to relax before going back to work. Church also tends to be emotional and thats just not something I like to get into in public. On top of that, theres nothing I get tired of faster than being told everything I'm doing wrong when I could be at home taking a nap. I'm agnostic now, but I wasn't always that way. I used to attend church faithfully. But honestly, I really hated having to get up every sunday, even as a kid.
As a child I was taken to church every Sunday, and I would say that I still have a strong faith in the basic teachings of the church I was raised in. over time and as I met others of different faiths I began to question the implied rule that a person had to go to a church to be a good person and believe in their faith. I still have faith in what I was taught and find myself to be a better person if I practice what I was taught everyday with the people I am around rather than just on Sunday for a hour.
