Local Chinatowns
Most cities or countries has a 'Local Chinatown', a place established and run by those of Asian heritage. Describe the ones in your area, are they safe?
Well, I don't live in a place where there is a local chinatown but years ago I visited the one in San Francisco. It was my first visit to the US and when we went there I was pretty scary on how the place looked like. Seemed very unsafe.
We used to live about 10 miles away from the Manchester China town, I used to go there a lot, and always found it to be safe, and great for food!
I loved the bakeries, supermarkets, and general stores where you can get any chinese foods, clothing, pots, pans etc, and you can't go wrong there for around £7/$14 you can eat as much as you like in one of the many superb buffets, and that includes starters and desserts!
Manchester china town is one of the biggest chinese cultural areas, and is very vibrant and bustling.Well worth a visit for anyone visiting Manchester City centre, as you can walk it from the city centre in less than 10 minutes.
