There are many rumors surrounding the film including the fact that many of the recognized characters our now aged. Do you think it will happen with Harrison Ford again? Will there be an Indiana girl involved?
As of April 2004, the project has been officially shelved once more after George Lucas rejected the script by Frank Darabont earlier. Reportedly, Lucas did not like Darabont's handling of the storyline between Indy and his brother (both Indy's father played by Sean Connery and brother, a role for which Kevin Costner was rumored to be considered, were to have roles in the new movie). In media reports Frank Darabont indicated he was "disappointed" with the decision.

You know, I really liked the Indiana Jones series. I'm not sure that it needs a fourth movie though. It ended very well and ended with a movie that some could argue was the best of the three. If they insist on doing a fourth, then Indy needs to be played by Harrison Ford in some role, and maybe even have one of his children in the hunt for something big this time.
The Indiana Jones series was a great series filled with plenty of adventure and action for me. Though in the first two, I don't think the third one, he ends up fighting a really huge guy who beats him up and then gets killed by something else. I thought that was kinda repetitive, still I loved the movies and would enjoy a fourth one.
