I chose "Yes, I don't care what their life is like" but really, for me it'd be "Yes, I don't care what their life is like, plus there's only about a 75% chance in my eyes that my government didn't wrongfully convict them."
I am totally turned off by musicians who ignore or abuse their fans. If the public comes to your concert or buys your CD, the least you can do is to treat them with respect. More than judging the morality of the performers' lives across the board, I am more interested in their lives as related to the music. Drugs are bad, but drugs are not incongruous with the music of the Beatles, and some of it is great music. However, drugs would be inconsistent with the message of a Christian rock artist, for example, and I would encourage others not to buy a CD from a Christian group that does drugs. Overall, I will listen to music that meets a certain level of morality, and those morals do not have to be as strict as my own, but the music should not cause me to want to break my code of ethics.
