I do not know if their statement of faith does or doesn't conflict with Catholism, but I do believe this group has a right to place children based upon the religious beliefs of the parents. I think this respects the wishes of the parents given children up for adoption.
I would imagine a Jewish person would want her child raised Jewish. An LDS person would want their child raised LDS. For some, it doesn't matter, but for others religion, and which religion, are very important. When someone decides to put their child up for adoption, I believe they have a right to decide what kind of situation that child will be placed. One way this happens is through choosing an adoption agency.
