Your response does not make much sense. We are on the Psychology and Substance Abuse Board, we are not here to debate the existence of divinity. Indeed we do not Discuss religion outside the Religion based Boards. Do you have actual Constructive input into the Thread which is about Smoking Marijuana?
In the same vein I can't see how your contribution was constructive either JB ... Seems that we both just threw our 2 cents worth in....
It is very well know that marijuana has many medicinal properties ... Such as relieving the terrible symptoms of chemotherapy ... Assisting in the recovery of Glaucoma and it also contains anti psychotic blockers as well as many many other benefits that outweigh the negatives of it ...Legalizing marijauna is well worth crusading for ...
I seem to be challenged a lot these days. It is comical that I'm being challenged this time about a Post I made in Jul 30 2005, at 1:34pm in which I reported an inncident and made a comparison about what people choose to crusade for and where it LESS common and more unusual where a guy decides to crusade for pot. Therefore yes, my Post was very Constructive where as yours was not because you took my one line and chose to indoctrinate us with whether you think Jesus exists or not - which is not the subject of this Thread. I made no mention of that, I just said the common things people choose to crusade about, therefore your Post was grossly off topic and out of line and when I try to show you that you try to point the finger at me and say I was not Constructive in 2005, please do not make that mistake here and actually Read our Constructive Posting Policy.
I would have to say the drug in comparison with booze is less harmful. However if you are already suffering from delusions and or depression it would not be a great idea to use this drug. As it amplifies depression and hightens hallucinations.
I have found this drug to be a fun recreational drug when used properly. Using it everyday though may not be a great idea. It is still a drug and reguardless of its supposed benefits you are substituting reality for an altered one. On another note I am not a doctor or scientists so I cannot say it can't be used effectively as a medicine.
The more I think about it medical pot has its place in medicine. There are scientific studies that show it does help the body medically. I think the argument is about the fact that it alters perception. I don't think anyone can deny that it does have medical benefits but the reputation of pot being used as a drug in other ways takes away from this.
Of course there are going to be those who would use this to get pot and use it legally without really needing it. However I don't think it should be illegal anyways so, . . .
