The safety hazard seems to be from the poachers that didn't want to get caught. So is the area necessarily unsafe or is the majority of people safe in the area? Either way, if they stop the poachers, they will make it a safer place for everyone including tourists. Its too bad too, we aren't quite out of the tourist season for summer and are beginning the tourist season for winter time soon. Bad news is not good for business.
