Re-write The U. S. Constitution - Page 2

So, if I put your two and my two together I get the fact that our Constitution is being re-written by men and women whose only thought and goal for the rest of their lives is,"How do I get re-elected?"

Constitution S U Re-write

You can continuously see how our constitution is being re-written into oblivion by watching the news. Peoples rights to Life, Liberty, And the pursuit of happiness, Their right to a fair trial, all of these things taken by cops who shoot to kill instead of restraining because they cannot exercise enough restraint to use equal force. Politicians continuously writing bills to "clarify" the rights of the people when all you need is a copy of the constitiution, and a dictionary to help with the unclear parts. Under United States Law I understand The U.S. Constitution to be a social contract, and that the rights of the citizens are a pre-requisite to any authority assumed by the tax dollar guzzling, civil service employees of the american people. How can my employee be an authority over me? I would change two things about the Constitution, I would institute term limits for ALL elected offices, State and federal. And I would require every elected official to prove to the people that they are earning their pay or to return every penny of it with the federal interest rate imposed.

Your first selection is close to brilliant. I love that idea and believe it would really force people to earn there position so they could move up the next election or be out of a job. As for making them prove they earned their money, thats to much of a toss up. Who gets to decide if they earned it? It would be an opinion based decision and that would be bad.

... I just love the 10th ... in light it says if we missed anything 1-9 it counts too.

That's funny! Gotta love the Founders of the United States Constitutional Republic as signed. The only one like it my friend. Peace.
