Yes, I know that prices will rise, although they won't skyrocket. The pickers are only one part of the equation of the cost of our produce. There are transportation costs, storage costs, the cost of gas, the cost of the store they sell the produce in, the cost of the workers in those stores. All of those costs will remain the same, more or less. But the good thing is, our unemployment will go down which will generally put pressure on employers to pay more, which means a better standard of living for everyone… which if we manage well may not lead to runaway inflation.
