What Is The Name Of Your Church?

Churches go by different names. Have you considered the name of your Church and its meaning? Does the meaning of it truly stand for what you believe and the deity you worship?

CONGREGATIONS DROP 'CHURCH' FROM THEIR TITLES

Don't count on Googling "church" to find all the Christian places of worship near your home. The word is being abandoned as many congregations choose catchier names to attract new members.

Church Of The What

I am a christian - orthodox and in our country around 85% are orthodox. I think most of the orthodox congregations have "church" in their names. Every house of worship has "church" or "cathedral" in their names.

What Is The Name Of Your Church? Beliefs Religious General

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Personally, I think it's sad that the current "generation" is avoiding going to "church." What's wrong with it? Why does naming the church something different mean that they aren't going to church? If you are coming unto Christ, one of the things you learn is that His followers must join together often and learn of him. What is so terrible about that?
