EDITORIAL: ANNE BANCROFT A GREAT TALENT
It would be nice to write a eulogy for Anne Bancroft without mentioning her role as the lusty Mrs. Robinson in "The Graduate." It could be easily done. Bancroft's career was one of accomplishment and class. But, alas, the world chooses what it will remember, and Bancroft lived her life in the shadow of a 1967 character she'd created. Mrs. Robinson was her personal ghost.

She has been in allot of great movies in the last ten years also, including G.I. Jane in which she played a condescending senator. She was also able to act in comedies like Dracula:dead and loving it.
