How do I go about making a Citizen's Arrest?

I found a great site on making citizens arrests and found that there are only three reasons in which you can make a citizens arrest.

Most of the time this means that the crime being committed is one that puts you in danger if you get involved. I would highly considered not intervening unless you have too, especially if you have a family. But if you feel you must, there is a proper way to make a citizens arrest.

There are a few other precautions you should take. Everyone should read this site if they think they would be likely to make a citizens arrest if the situation were to arise.
