POLICE: MAN CONFESSES TO DISMEMBERING SEVEN MEN
A Missouri man who police say confessed to killing, dismembering and burning the bodies of seven men in his bedroom fireplace was charged Sunday with one count of murder.

Confession Heinous
This is a very odd case. Notice he is only being charged with one murder despite his confession. The problem is that they don't have any evidence, such as bodies, to prove he killed more than one person. Police are skeptical that he might be simply exaggerating so that he could get on the news. One person who kills, dismembers, and burns the body of one person is bad. But someone who does it to seven gets major prime time coverage. In Missouri this is a hot topic with lots of speculation as to whether he really committed seven murders or is just trying to become infamous.
