Although not quite related it seems like these water parks are very dangerous:

This is not related to Disney itself, but to the increaing suits against such Theme Parks, although this one is the most funny I have ever read:
Man sues Dollywood for $20M, says roller coaster caused brain damage
CourtTV - (Court TV) - A Mississippi electrician who brought his family to singer Dolly Parton's namesake amusement park for a vacation says his Smoky Mountain adventure ended in severe brain damage.

Here is part of the report, what do people expect from these rides?
A suit filed in U.S. District Court in Knoxville last week alleges that the defendants took inadequate measures to warn riders that "the unexpected turns and drops occurred in the dark and with such severity that a rider's head or neck could be snapped or whipped in such a way as to cause brain damage or stroke."
Water Park Closes After Hundreds Fall Ill
AP - Gastrointestinal illness possibly stemming from a state-run water playground has sickened more than 700 people, mostly children and teenagers, the state Health Department said Thursday.

In a follow up to this story it seems that it was not the fault of Disney directly, but a heart condition. One has to wonder how this was not detected before though - quite sad to die on a ride - the ride of a lifetime.

BOY WHO DIED ON DISNEY RIDE HAD HEART DEFECT A 12-year-old boy who died after riding a Walt Disney World roller coaster had a congenital heart defect, a medical examiner said Friday. Ref. https://www.cbc.ca/story/world/national/200...isney-ride.html |
Call me a chicken but that's why I do not see what is the "fun" about those dangerous rides. I do not find them funny at all but all the opposite. I never enjoyed them and it is so hard to understand how someone can like those things when you feel your heart is going out of your mouth. It is so sad to hear the story of this little boy.
