Lions save kidnapped girl
Addis Ababa - Police say three lions rescued a 12-year-old girl kidnapped by men who wanted to force her into marriage, chasing off her abductors and guarding her until police and relatives tracked her down in a remote corner of Ethiopia.

Victim Protect Lions
This story is proof that a higher power exists. What a truly amazing situation in which the lions are the hero's! While the story doesn't say, the lions must have ben female lions. The story makes reference to a crying childing sounding like a meow. But male lions will eat their own young if the females don't protect them. On top of that, male lions don't roam together except when young and first looking for a their own pride. Its very sad to hear that they are going extinct. I'm very tired of hearing about animals being forced into extinction because of humanity.

That really is a wonderful story and I hope the lions took a few scrapes of the abductors' skins. There are many instances of animals saving humans, but when you get what is considered to be ferocious beasts doing it you are awe struck.
