A small plane crashed onto a heavily traveled freeway, clipping a vehicle and injuring two people aboard the plane, authorities said Saturday.

U.S. spy plane crashes after mission in Afghanistan
BAGHDAD (AP) - The pilot of a U.S. Air Force U-2 spy plane on a mission in support of American military operations in Afghanistan died in a crash Wednesday while returning to a base in the United Arab Emirates. The military refused to say where the aircraft went down.
U.S. Central Command said the crash occurred in "southwest Asia," a term that can be a substitute for the Middle East.

There seems to be a lot of air show crashes of late, are they being a bit too risky or sloppy? I doubt the loss of life can be worth the spectacle of a trick in the air.

The miraculous part of this is not that everyone survived although that in itself is grand, but the part I have in bold...
All 309 people aboard an Air France jet survived when the plane overshot the runway at Toronto's Pearson airport by 200 metres Tuesday afternoon. Airport authorities said 14 people suffered minor injuries. The plane burst into flames after everyone had been safely evacuated.
