B.C. FATHER SENTENCED TO 16 YEARS MINIMUM FOR KILLING DAUGHTER
A British Columbia man who killed his daughter because he didn't approve of her relationship with her boyfriend has been sentenced to 16 years in prison before becoming eligible for parole.

I don't understand what would drive someone to attack their own children because they disapprove of something they did. To me there has to be some mental issues involved where rage is also a factor. I hope that in addition to his term in prison he is offered some medical rehabilitation as well.

Parenting To The Extreme History & Civil Business Politics
This seems to happen in asian families quite alot, I'm not stereotyping I've just noticed quite a few of these cases in the news over the years, there seems to be this whole "death before dishonour" attitude again just making an observation please don't think I'm being racist or anything!
I think in this case it was probably alot like when an abusive husband kills his wife it's a control thing, and once the Husband/father realises they can't control the other person any more it drives them to murder.
