VENOMOUS MAMMAL FIND A FIRST: ALBERTA PALEONTOLOGIST
A small, fossilized mammal had what appears to be poisonous fangs that allowed it to bite like a snake - the first such find in an extinct mammal, Canadian researchers say.

I never realized that ANY mammals existed with venomous fangs. Apparently, not only DID they exists, there still exist small rat-like mammals with fangs. And I had no idea the playpus had a venom delivery system. But Im not really suprised at that, that is the weirdest looking animal alive.
