After two years of Natalee disappearance, her mother still "hopeful". Is it that she is in denial or really it is possible that she still alive somewhere and held against her will?

All Beth Holloway Twitty wants is an answer to her question: what happened to my daughter? For two years, there's been no answer. "It's been a long, painful journey," she said of the time span since her 18-year-old daughter, Natalee Holloway, vanished in Aruba. "But I still remain hopeful that I will get an answer, she said on Greta Van Susteren's 'On the Record.' The mother said that she keeps in contact with Natalee's classmates, and that combined with faith maintains her strength. Another thing that maintains her hope: the continuing search for truth. "I think it has picked up lately," the mother said of the case. Holloway, from Mountain Brook, Alabama, vanished in the early hours of May 30, 2005, the last day of a five-day vacation to celebrate her high school graduation with 124 other students. She was seen leaving a bar with Joran van der Sloot and the Kalpoe brothers, Deepak and Satish Kalpoe. The brothers were jailed and later released after a judge ruled there was not enough evidence to hold them... |

Well, it seems like the case is going to be solved anytime soon? It seems like Natalee (according to a source) died of a cardiac arrest after a drug overdose (cocaine). Now the question would be: Did anyone drug her or she did it on her own? No body was ever found.

Natalee Holloway died from cardiac arrest caused by an accidental drug overdose, a source has told The O'Reilly Factor. "The Factor has learned from sources we have to protect that Natalee Holloway, the 18-year-old Alabama woman who disappeared two years ago in Aruba, died from cardiac arrest brought on by an overdose of cocaine," Bill O'Reilly said on his Thursday program. The theory offered by the source, a top law enforcement official, could not be confirmed independently because Holloway's body has not been found. |

Are we finally going to see this case resolved? This case reminds me so much of the Mc Canns, so many contradictions in statements yet not enough evidence to charge. Let's see what happens now.

I thought they had more evidence than just a couple of phone conversations It seems to me they are going to be freed again soon.

Phone conversations between suspects in the disappearance of American teen Natalee Holloway could be the mysterious new evidence in the case, a Dutch newspaper is reported. Citing anonymous detectives in Aruba, the newspaper De Telegraff is reporting it is derived from phone tapes of conversations between Joran van der Sloot and brothers Deepak and Kalpoe from earlier this year. The conversations reportedly contradict their earlier statements to police. An Aruban court will consider Friday whether police rightfully re-arrested the two Surinamese brothers. Authorities arrested them on Wednesday in Aruba, while police in the Netherlands arrested Dutch student van der Sloot, a third suspect, the same day. Prosecutors said the three men were the last to see the Alabama teenager alive after she left a bar in Aruba. "New material in the investigation" led to the arrests, prosecutors said - although they refused to reveal what the nature of the new evidence was. The brothers are being held in separate jails and prosecutors reportedly believe they should be represented by separate attorneys to prevent a conflict of interest... |

I can imagine once again the disappointment of Natalee's parents. It must be heartbreaking. Will this case be ever be solved?

An Aruban judge Friday ordered the release of Joran van der Sloot, a suspect in the 2005 disappearance of Natalee Holloway. The two other suspects, Deepak and Satish Kalpoe, were released last week. All three had been arrested last month and charged with being involved in the "voluntary manslaughter" of Holloway, as well as assault and battery leading to her death. Prosecutors cited new and incriminating evidence against them but did not specify. The three maintain their innocence. They were arrested two years ago after the Alabama teen's disappearance in May 2005 while she was vacationing in Aruba... |

It seems like there is a tape where the Dutch young man confesses to someone to some sort of involvement in Natalee's disappearance but now he says he was lying at that time.
I really hope for the sake of her family that someone is brought to justice!
