Micalan Introduction

Hello everyone. I have read the rules and am very excited by the prospect of an *intelligent* board, though I am a touch against rules and laws due to unfair treatment by the US government.
Anyways, as you could surmise from the above, I'm sure, I'm from California, USA. I'm also 21, male, taken (finally! ), Atheist, but I forget the word for "waiting for proof or a sign" not "there is NO God." sorry. I'm Anarchist, though not *too* politically involved, and leaning a bit towards Reformist, I guess. Not sure how much information you can actually see from what I put in, so I apologize if I'm being dull and repetitive.
Also, I'm a bass instructor, and am in a local rock band called 'One For None' in not just my spare time, but most of my time. I joined for a lack of good RPGs out there and the fact that my computer is junk, so I can't play 'graphically advanced' games, (plus even if I could the only ones I've found to not be mindless hack'n'slash are Dungeons & Dragons games) and I keep seeing 'intellectually mature' everywhere, and with an IQ of 126 it seems to me that there is a lack of those/these places *and* people.

So, Ye be seeking Adventure eh? Understand this Villager... Many a brave lad and las have come here in times past seeking adventure, but they were never up to the task at hand. They have a tendency to quit long before they met the honorable requirements. This be what separates the peasants from the warriors. Wilt thou also run like a coward or be as the brave that stay to fight yet another day? Thou must do the following to be an RPGer here:

1. Post no less than 30 constructive messages keeping an activity rating of at least 75%

The next thing you should do now is update your profile. You can do this by clicking the link called, 'My Controls' in the top menu. You will be given a series of fields to fill in or menus to choose from, simply answer ALL the questions, and save it! Then start posting in the many Boards we have here - you have 29 more to do, your Introduction was one of them.

What an interesting intro. Welcome to the Community. Follow all the tips that has been given you above and you will be RPGing in no time, and yes, we are mature in our postings here so do not worry, there is more than hack and kill. I am curious as to why you would choose a female avatar though? We have male avatars that I think may suit you better?

Thanks for the compliment (I think ) I believe that the conversations are intelligent and the people mature... Well I did from the start, but still, now that I've seen it... Anyways, I chose a female avatar because I love Final Fantasy X, I love Lulu (and Tidus, but he wasn't there) and I'm using Vash the Stampede from Trigun for virtually every other forum I'm in, so I didn't want an anime avatar, and all the others were a bit too masculine, heh. So, Lulu! Plus she looks a lot like my best friend Jessica in this pic.

Well, I personally don't see why they'd wonder... I mean, it says male but I also don't see why it matters. And I read the Good Posting thing. It nearly made me cry because of it's beauty. A virtually foolproof way to exclude the 12-year-olds and the l33t-talkers (sorry, and it hurt to even write that). As for seeing more of my posts, you will, I assure you that unless my computer breaks, there is a nuclear holocaust, the dead come back to life, you decide to boot me for some reason, and/or the quality of this place decreases by 250% I'm staying .

As for the avatar - not all Skins reveal stats about you, but I saw your life's preferences. I look forward to some of your views here about that since it is one of the big topics for discussion.
