Apparently, someone used a car to ram into people and a policeman was stabbed. This will enrage the racists to say "You see we do not want more immigrants here!"

Agreed, but then we'd be hacking each other with swords. Humans are exceedingly good at killing each other. We have invented new and better ways throughout our time on this planet. It's so sad but true. If that weren't the case they'd be no need of people like me and KN or the hundreds of military and law enforcement people reacting to this event in London.

Guns and explosives have their places. It is not the gun, the car nor the explosive that is inherently bad. You have bad people who want to do bad things. It does not matter what instrument they use they will us what they can to hurt and kill people.

People like me work hard to try stop the bad people but we can always stop everything. I hope that this attack was only caused by one person. I hope that the families of the victims find peace.

British police make multiple arrests related to London terror attack

Mark Rowley, the acting deputy commissioner of the London Metropolitan Police, said seven arrests were made after police searched six addresses following the deadly terror attack Wednesday that killed 4 people and injured at least 40. Ref. USAToday.

Europe has an issue. Many of their Islamic immigrants are being radicalized. I'm not saying it's the majority, but it is unite a fevand it appears they are getting support from others who haven't completely radicalized but whose sentiments lie with the radicals. The fact that these immigrants aren't assimilating into the local countries culture is making this radicalization easier. We have a similar problem here in the US, but not to the same degree. We have to figure out how to a) help these cultures assimilate into our culture without losing their own identity and b) counter the radicalization.

ISIS has come out as being behind this attack. The perpetrator was already known to the authorities but just like other cases nothing was done maybe because of lack of evidence.

Yup, but our issue is we need to find the bad guys center of gravity and disrupt it. Okay, this guy was know to the Brits. Great, but in Western society you need more than an indication, you need evidence. It's one of the beautiful things that separates us from the radical Islamic terrorists and strongmen like Putin.

So, we have to get to these people before they are radicalized. That is their weak point, their center of gravity. Otherwise, they'll be radicalizing people for years to come and we won't be able to stop every car, truck, or knife attack. Nor will we be able to stop someone from making a very powerful but crude bomb. Believe me, it's very easy to do and it can be done with everyday items.
