England and France are now ground zero in this new phase of this war. At least, they have on the defensive side where we have to play protect. On the offensive side we need to take the gloves off. This is not a boxing match. This is a street brawl where few rules apply. Until we learn this we are going to continue to get your nose bloodied.

Some of the actions at least two of these people took over the last few years should have alerted British security institutions to a greater degree. All I keep hearing about these attacks in England, France, and elsewhere is these people were on watch lists. My goodness, when is enough enough?

Does not matter now who they were as they will not attack anyone again. I know that western authorities will be looking at this and trying to figure out a way to find those that have turned radical before they can harm others.

So I just saw an interview with the mayor of London and he was asked where the 200+ radical Islamic terrorists are that have returned from fighting in Syria. He didn't know. Piers Morgan was incredulous. He asked how they could track if them. The mayor said cuts in the budget made them have to prioritize. Morgan said what could possibly be a higher priority than tracking known terrorists. Then he asked why they were even allowed back in. Good questions.

That is the thing though. Budget cuts are always happening in governments because when nothing is happening they feel the money is a waste. Then when something happens everyone is in a uproar of how could this have happened. Sorry you can not have it both ways and the governments from local levels to federal levels need to be funded for this to be stopped easier.

KN,

Agreed, but the mayor was hinting that tracking terrorists wasn't high enough priority for his police. That should be top priority since we know their intentions are to do harm. Whatever the budget they should be tracking these evil people.
