I really do not know what the purpose of the below message is unless it is a means of giving out a code to islamists since the Queen is a very public figure:

AL-QAEDA RANKS QUEEN AMONG 'ENEMIES OF ISLAM'

An al-Qaeda leader has threatened Queen Elizabeth by naming her as "one of the severest enemies of Islam" as he tried to justify the July bombings in London, a British newspaper reported.

Up to 20 militant imams in Britain, MPs told

As many as 20 militant imams with views similar to those of Abu Hamza al-Masri could still be preaching in Britain, MPs were told as the Government braced itself for a close vote today over anti-terror laws. Lord Carlile of Berriew, the terror watchdog, coupled his warning with criticism of ministers for allowing the credibility of MI5 to be harmed by the presentation of the case for war in Iraq.

Britain Terrorism

As we approach the first anniversary of the bombings in London (7/7), I found this very touching article on the Sun, a British daily newspaper.

Teen relives Tube horror

QUOTE
ON July 7, 2005, teenager Danielle Kolias was taking her first-ever Tube trip after missing her bus to work.

As dad George waved goodbye to his eldest daughter, he was looking forward to seeing the 19-year-old back at the family home in Edmonton, North London, that night.

Instead, it was days before Danielle returned - because alongside her in the rush-hour crush was suicide bomber Jermaine Lindsay, who blew up the 8.50am Piccadilly Line train as it left King's Cross.

Here, Danielle tells her story.

She says: "I"ll never go back on the Tube but I feel it everywhere. I look at people differently now.

"I know it's stupid but if I see someone with a beard or a big bag I worry. Anyone could be a bomber.

"Since what happened to me and all those others, nothing's been done to protect us. It's not safe now, is it?"

Very touching story. And that last line hit me in the gut.

Terrorism In Britain

The psychological impact of such an event in someone's life makes what this teen experience 'normal' - it is sad , but true.

On another note, the British have been rounding up many possible sympathizers to terrorist groups. Remember that story where the Muslim cleric wanted to preach against the British government in a public park? Well, such things are a thing of the past now.

Terrorism Britain - Page 5

This is the kin of news we all like to hear. It is interesting that a lot of attacks - or should I say 'planned attacks' seems to be out of the UK at the moment.
