For $10,000, Woman Tattoos Ad on Forehead

SALT LAKE CITY - For $10,000, Kari Smith has gone ahead and had her forehead tattooed with the Web address of a gambling site. Bountiful, 30, who sold her unusual advertising space on eBay, said the money will give her 11-year-old son a private education, which she believes he needs after falling behind in school.

I might do it, but not for $10,000. Perhaps $100,000 and definitely $1,000,000. However, there would need to be a time limit for how long I must keep it on my forehead. Then, I could use some of the money for laser treatment to have it removed. $10,000 is way to low a number.

I agree with you FBC. 10,000 is a way to small number to do it ... for 100,000 you bet I'll do it and for 1,000,000 I would shave my head and tattoo it all. I also agree with the removing part of your message wink.gif .

No, not for $10k, and not for $100k. Not even for $1M. I considered it, but frankly, I already have a tattoo I don't want. To tattoo something on my forehead, I might as well just go with "I'm Stupid!" I would hate for my grandchildren to see that I had done something like that for money.

In my opinion, of course.

I don't think theres any amount of money that could make me want to do this, How would you face going out of the house, or going to work for that matter, most places now have a 'no visible tattoos' policy let alone a tattoo that's an advertisement! If you were that desperate to get your child into private school I'm sure theres better ways to raise the money, and even if you did do this and your child got into private school, what happens if that child then gets expelled or still falls behind? you've still got to walk round with this thing on your head!
Don't get me wrong I've got tattoos, but they were my choice and they're in places where people only see them if I choose to show them off (no not anywhere rude!)But basically I think some people will do anything for money!

That is shocking! How could she do this? I mean, it was for a good cause and all, but it's like selling yourself for money (much much better that prostitution, sex is just (?) a taboo). I don't want to think of a world that such things happen, but now I'm forced to... That really is troubling, were are we heading as a people? sad.gif

As you 'might' have guessed, my answer would be NO, I don't want to sell my soul to the devil!

I'm sorry I couldn't help but laugh. $10,000 to spend the rest of your life with a tatoo on your head just seems silly. I wouldn't do it for any amount of money just for the reason that I respect my body wink.gif and the fact that I have a phobia for needles.

No, I wouldn't, I wouldn't like having a tattoo on my forehead, much less one that is an address for a gambling site.
