MESA, Arizona - Raising 13 children is no small feat. But for Church members Carol and Glade Soelberg, they fill their home with love. The couple were recently named the 2005 Arizona Parents of the Year. Ashlyn Soelberg, the second youngest child at 14, said her parents have "lots of patience and are hard workers. Everything they teach us, they teach us by example."

Some people claim that having more than a couple of kids is irresponsible, because you couldn't possibly pay enough attention to each one. Families like this prove it is not only possible, but fulfilling and positively influential. Please remind me of that when my sixth kid comes along.
