Juke Box

How do you like the music selection of the Jukebox? I tried to get a wide variety of Midi file to suit all tastes. Originally I was going to add MP3s so you could get words too, but I think that is a bit much on my bandwidth. If many start to go for Premium I may consider it later.

To access this go to any upgrade page and click on [Juke Box] for the popup window.

It is just awesome! I like the variety of songs and it is really fun to have music in the background while replying threads. I think it is a great addition.

I used the jukebox one time, and for me it is not practical because I am either on the forum at my work or at home and the background music would just be a distraction. I have never believed in background music, I detest sites that play songs as soon as the page loads. Just my humble opinion, no offense intended.

No offense taken at all. I never use music on my sites unless it is part of an opening flash and then there is always an option to turn it off. The funny thing is from experience I would say those who ask and want music is about 40% and those who detest it as Malexander indicated is about 60%. The Jukebox and Radio are bot there for those 40% Thanks for the feedback.

I used once or twice - my favorite is Santana's Black magic woman -, but like Malexander said it's somehow distracting. On the other hand, if I want to listen to music I put on a CD. But overall this feature is fun.
