SERVER PROBLEMS

I think I have never had so much trouble with a server.

Infonology is giving me lots of beans.

Anyone know a good server with at least 40 GB bandwidth, and 500 MB space and all the trimmings? This of course at a reasonable rate.

Their uptime should mean uptime and not sometime!

PROBLEMS SERVER

I must apologise for downtime that you may be experiencing. My server keeps reassuring me that they are dealing with the problem, but it seems to be a reoccuring 'decimal'.

Please cross your fingers that my hosting provider gets a clue of what they are doing!

SERVER PROBLEMS Feedback & FAQ News Community

JB, i sympatise with you. I am having problems with my DSL connections and when i call customer service i have to wait for 45 minutes online to a recording machine before anyone can talk to me and when they do it's like they can't help me steupssssss i've been getting this all day, i know your problem is bigger than mine so i have an idea of what you are goin through.

I have to upgrade my DSL to a 3.1.1 what i am using now is a 3.0. Tonight they told me to unplug my phone and plug in my modem in the phone jack so right now am missing calls if anyone is trying to reach me.

I hope you get through with a new server because the one you have now seems like to much trouble with no help from Tech.

PROBLEMS SERVER

Well you know the funny thing is...

I see a lot of big names having the same 504 errors - server not found. Names like Yahoo, etc.
This is why in our disclaimer we state that the net is about several people doing their jobs and not just one.

One thing I fear is if there was a global war the net would easily fall by the wayside. Or if there were a really serious earthquake in California that could knock out servers there, then I would be in serious trouble.

Really what I would like to do is have duplicate web sites in two servers, but this would be a really hard task, plus there is no way to direct a domain to two servers.... unless someone tells me how *hint*

PROBLEMS SERVER

Well we finally moved!

GOOD-BYE INFINOLOGY!

This host treats its customers as unimportant!
Its amazing that we even had our site up 60% of the time!
Check the reviews to see what I mean:

Lets all 'knock wood' that we really do maintain 99.5% with our new server!

SERVER PROBLEMS

We recently switched servers as our last one was ridiculous, imagine they have not even responded to an email I sent them a wekk ago :smile.gif Anyway, we moved to a new one in the quest of finding a better home, but alas, not so, there was a 12 minute down time during last night's chat session which I apologise for... we hope that we can be constantly reliable in our uptime. Thanks.

Update on Server

:spock: Our last server was closing down business. It seems
they took on more than they could chew. We are with
a new one now and we hope that all can be well here.
*crosses fingers then knocks some wood* LOL
