Well, we all know that Utah is a place where the most 'interesting' names can be found I searched this web site where appears hundreds of baby names and I had to put it on the forum!. Here are some of those 'interesting' names:
Friends Forsaken
Halloween
Helamans Warrior
Iron Rod

What do you think about these names?
I think people are nutty; I can't imagine naming my kid after the hill Cumorah. I once knew a man named Welcome -- I thought that was kind of cool. He was an older gentleman, and it just made me think that when he was born, his mother said, "Welcome, son..."
Of course, it's not limited to Utahns.
What I have always had a problem with is names like:
Moriancumr
Mahoni
I know that others have noticed the trend people in Utah (and Idaho and Wyoming, etc) to combine names to create first names. One of my brothers has a name like that, and I have always felt sorry for him.
Names such as:
ElDean
LaVerle
A goldfish named...wha? do you call her MshBaz for short? Yep. You name the fish, let the wife name the kids.. Although you may feel very strongly about your kids' names once they are born, I've seen that happen with new dads

Utah must really have a reputation with names if someone actually took the time to make a script about it, check this: Mormon Names
