Aeth Introduction

Hello, I'm Aeth and let me just say that it's nice to have found such a well organized place. I hope I will have a great time here.

I'm Polish and I study English, but what I would really like to say is that I love RPGs, especially play by forum RPGs, which I've been playing for more than two years now - however, only in my native language. Therefore, I am not hiding that I've been lured here by your World of Medieval RPG, and I hope that some day I will take part in those fantasy adventures.

Besides RPGs and games such as Baldur's Gate (which I think is my favourite game ever, somewhere between Final Fantasy VIII & X, Resident Evil 2 and the Tekken series), I love Star Wars, ER, Lilo & Stitch, reading stories with engaging characters, drawing (more like sketching, to be precise), listening to movie scores and r'n'b hits, watching action movies of almost every kind, but still with some serious plot to them, and writing to PBF PRGs. That would be me in short

Welcome Ta Ye Ole' Forum!

So, Ye be seeking Adventure eh? Understand this Villager... Many a brave lad and las have come here in times past seeking adventure, but they were never up to the task at hand which be to post 30, yes sir, I repeat 30 constructive messages and have an activity rating of 75% or more. They have a tendency to quit long before they met the honorable requirements. This be what separates the peasants from the warriors. Wilt thou also run like a coward or be as the brave that stay to fight yet another day?

Now meh advice would be this... have a quickie read of 'What is Good Posting!' and then start to make thy postings. If ye still have questions AFTER reading the FAQ Board then ask them WITHIN this thread. This place has MANY features to help ye find what thou art looking for, but if ye cannot handle the serious adventure here then feel free to delete thy account.

Welcome to the forum Aeth!

We welcome the participation of experienced players. If you want to play here, you have to read, understand and follow the rules stated by Knight. The most important thing is to be active and to post constructively. After 30 posts you may request the RPGer status, but remember to keep your activity rate over 75% (meaning about 3 posts a day). If you explore a bit, you'll see how huge this forum is, so I'm sure you'll get those 30 posts in no time. At first you may find our rules a bit rigid, but if you stick with us, you'll understand the need for these rules. You may even start to like them .

P.S.: I suggest you read (besides the FAQ) the previous missions in Medieval - to learn how things work around here and also the current mission, to understand where we stand.

I must admit I was seriously confused with how the RPG game is played here, but it turned out that it was enough to find the proper topic to make everything clear. Now I want to play even more, because it would be a new expierence for me and quite a challenging one too. And I already have an idea for the character. First things first, however.

Well, mainly the fact where the actual playing is taking place. It's just that I'm used to replying to the game in the same topic where the plot is set - the GM writes the message, the players reply acting out their characters, and so on. Here you have two different topics - one for the plot where the Game Master describes everything, and one where the players declare their actions. But it's just a matter of getting used to it.
