Japanese paperback writers find home in South Korea

Reuters - Japanese authors have taken more spots than Korean writers on South Korea's best-seller's list for the first time with local readers saying they are more interested in hip tales of romance than Seoul's strained ties with Tokyo.

I don't know if I could ever be a fan of writing from this area, but I can only base this on what I have seen from their classical art forms, current movies and general storylines that seemed focus on blood, aggression and death.
