Did you know that one of the Catholic beliefs includes 'The Nine Choirs of Angels' or various 'ranks' among angels?
* Seraphim
* Cherubim
* Thrones
* Dominions
* Virtues
* Powers
* Principalities
* Archangels
* Angels (Regular)

Thrones, Powers, Dominions, Virtues, and Angels have absolutely zero scriptural references to them at all. In fact, there is no reference as to how this is know about these angelic beings. How on earth does the Catholic church justify their existence? With what scriptural, ancient text, or other evidence do they claim their existence?
I do know some things about angels, but I've never read that they were ranked.
There was an ugly angel and a burning angel. Angels were often confused with God, seen as men, and sent to deliver birth announcements. They appointed leaders, harrassed a donkey, and killed 185,000 men in one night. They must have been really bad at one time, because humans believed you would die after seeing one.
