Rafael Palmeiro Lied? - Page 2

I believe you can do a hair follicle test which gives results about what you have been doing for the last several months, however, he may decide to go bald and get religious. I am however not surprised that they are thinking about prosecuting him, after all, you can get up there, lie and then expect to be left to feel as though you have gotten away with it.

Palmeiro's positive test strong steroid, paper reports

QUOTE
NEW YORK -- Rafael Palmeiro's positive steroid test was for stanozolol, a powerful anabolic steroid that is not available in dietary supplements, according to a newspaper report

The New York Times, citing a person in baseball with direct knowledge of the sport's drug-testing program, reported on its website Tuesday that Palmeiro tested positive for the drug known by the brand name Winstrol, most notably linked to the Olympic sprinter Ben Johnson of Canada.

The person who said that Palmeiro tested positive for stanozolol did not want to be identified because the testing policy prohibits anyone in baseball from disclosing information about test results without authorization, the Times said.

IF this is true, then it is very unlikely, almost impossible, that this was a mistake. I have my reservations about what the New York Times has to report, but my guess is that this isn't far from the truth.

Here is the latest reaction from 'fans' and the rest at his most recent game. It seems like the roids' wore off on his slug wink.gif.

Palmeiro Gets Mixed Cheers As Orioles Lose

AP - It might be a while before Rafael Palmeiro regains his home run swing, and it will probably take a little longer for Baltimore Orioles fans to completely forgive the troubled slugger. Palmeiro went 0-for-4 in his first game since returning from a 10-day suspension for using steroids, making the final out with two runners on Sunday in Baltimore's 7-6 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays.

Not necessarily true. How many of the home runs would have been simple fly balls that would have been caught? How many ground ball base hits would have moved more slowly and been reachable by the fielders? We will never know.

Unless you drink a magic potion or tablet I cannot understand how you can mistake an injection

Apparently, they all take supplements. Many of those supplements are said to be the source of the steriod. If I were a major league baseball player, or trainer, I would make darn sure I knew what was in each and every supplement before injesting. The "it must have been in a supplement I used" excuse shouldn't be tolerated. Olympic athletes manage to take steroid free supplements.
