When wolves left an area near Banff, Alberta, elk became more common, a meadow replaced willow trees, and songbirds were replaced by sparrows, biologists say.

Impact Wolf The

The study makes sense and was based on one group affecting another until a trickle effect was formed. The area used did not have wolves and was in one state and then when the wolves came the whole environment changed. I believe this can be adapted to show what can happen if the rogue (the wolves) element of society is also taken out.

Interesting conjecture, however it must be noted that as the wolves were subtracted from the equation. The more beautiful or attractive elements such as song birds also left the area. So saying if the rogue was removed from society, what factors would we be deprived of and what conditions would replace this gap in the normal flow of natural development that has put us in our current position of society?

Well they do not mention why they gather where the elk is located but you will notice this point:

Which clearly points out that we cannot only mind ourselves with protecting the prey, but the predator too.
Offtopic but,
This is not the Board to elaborate more on the rogue in society, however to answer that you will first have to ascertain what represents elks, songbirds and why do the songbirds follow the elk.
