Limiting Usage

I still do not use XP, I just do not see a need for it, but we do have it on my son's computer and I opened an account for him that is separate from my wife's (admin). What I wanted to know is if there is a way to allow folder / program usage between users without having to go through the shared folder?

If you are basically wanting to have a folder or group of folders that both users can access then you can simply create a folder anywhere with the exception of within the "documents and settings" folder. Both users should be able to access this with no trouble. As far as programs go, most programs that I am aware of should work between users with no problem. It is possible that they are not installing icons on profiles of users other than the user installing the program. In this case you can simply drag and drop a shortcut to the second users program list or desktop with Windows Explorer using the admin login.

Currently if I do not install a program to Felipe's account then it will not show for him at all. In other cases it does not even work and I do not see an option to enable it via my wife's admin account.
