The Fast And The Furious

I never could understand the love for cars to the degree that you would make a movie out of it. I saw this on public television and thought the storyline was simply 'ok' and the acting average. I would never pay money to see this.

Some of the race scenes were actually filmed here where I live. There's a long, sort of windy road south of town that was blocked off for a couple of weeks while they filmed it. I've never watched the movie.

I've watched the movie and it is not bad. My wife loved it but I think she was more interested in the main characters: Paul Walker and Vin Diesel. The scene on the highway was interesting, and some of the races were ok, but I have to say I'm not a car buff myself, so my interest was not as peaked. I never saw the sequel, 2 Fast 2 Furious, because of this.

I've seen the movie and I liked those cars, even though I'm not so fanatic over cars. The storyline was predictable and the acting was OK, but in this movie the stars were the cars. In my opinion, the second part is weaker.

I feel like I'm swimming against the grain, but I loved both of them. The second one had more of a plotline, and I found myself favoring the second one. I'm a car buff, and while it may not have been the best movie ever made, I found myself getting caught up in the action of the movie. I do believe that the first movie was quite predictable, but sometimes it's nice to watch a movie without having to think too hard. One thing I did like was the fact that they had female racers. It broke the strereotype that to be a street racer you have to be a guy. I think it's awesome that both movies featured girl racers, and they were great.
