I have a golden retriever and we take him in to be bathed once every 6-8 weeks. He is about 100 pounds in weight, so there is no way we would be able to get him in and out of our bathtub. He has long hair so we also have him trimmed when he gets a bath.

Bathing Pet

I just want to go off topic a bit to ask one question. My rotwieler seems to shed alot of hair is this normal to this type of breed (note he is a pure breed).
